Perovskia Little Spire

Sage Little Spire is a subshrub that grows to a height of about 0.6-0.8 m. Its gray-green, downy, deeply cut leaves have an aromatic scent when rubbed. Its blue-purple flowers bloom in clusters from June to September and attract not only the human eye but also many pollinating insects. It likes a sunny spot and well-structured soil, but also grows well in sandy soil. Its water needs are moderate. Older plants tolerate drought well. A perfect choice as a specimen plant, for both country and Mediterranean gardens.
